    ABOUT THE EVENT

After a phase one trade deal brought a tinge of optimism to the US-China relationship back in January, a confluence of issues and events throughout 2020 have compounded to pull relations between the two superpowers to their lowest levels in decades. While blame-games over responsibility for the global Covid-19 pandemic set the foundation for several months of acrimony, the two countries have been entangled in myriad disputes over global governance, technology exchange, supply chains, immigration policies and human rights. While the leaders of the world’s two largest economies continue to offer sharply differing visions of the current international order, is it at all possible for meaningful cooperation to be unearthed between them or are relations on course to devolve even further?

    KEY HIGHLIGHTS

China Conference: USA will bring together business leaders, government officials, academics and US-China relations thought leaders to discuss and debate the most pressing issues impacting not only US-China relations, but the world order at large.

Taking place virtually over the course of two days, viewers will have access to the LIVE footage and PLAYBACK videos of the conference.
